Hello from Sitka. We have 69 days left here (not that we are counting) and are getting ready for the move to Colville. Brent just left today for a week-he is taking the high school music program to Ketchikan for a music festival, there are 130 kids going. The actual festival is from Thur-Sat, but the ferry only leaves Sitka on a Tuesday and comes back to Sitka on a Tuesday, so he is gone from Tuesday-Tuesday. Needless to say I am not excited about it at all.
Both of the kids and I are sick. Sam got it first, and then Ella, and then a few days ago I caught it. It is a bad cold-luckily Sam is just about over his and Ella's is on it's way out. Mine is just beginning though, and it is not fun to take care of the kids by yourself when you are sick! Luckily I started my medicine a couple days ago so soon that should kick in. Is anyone feeling sorry for me yet??? :)
It is raining here right now but the last few days were really nice. It was sunny and actually warm for a little bit (probably in the low 50's). So it was nice to get a break from the rain for awhile.
Sam had a good 3rd birthday party-Sis, mom, Greg, and Corey were down here and we had a great time. Of course it went by way too fast for me. It will be nice to be back in Washington where we can get together with everyone more often.
Allright-that's about it from here. I'll try to write again this week if time permits and the kids let me. I also want to post a few pictures of the kids playing baseball the other day.

There's a whale! We also saw tons of sea lions and some sea otters, and alot of eagles. It was a great trip!

Yesterday we had the chance to go out on a whale watching trip for free! It was a great experience and even the kids had a great time! Ella did get a bit fussy at the end though-and Sam experienced a little bit of sea-sickness when we got out on the open ocean. It was great weather for it (not rainy or windy) and we even saw a whale!
We are getting very excited for Grandma Sissy, Grandma Beth, Grandpa Greg, and Tia to get here. Tia and Sis get here Wednesday night, and Mom and Greg get here Thursday morning. I hope the days before they get here fly by! We are having Sam's 3rd birthday party on Saturday with the family and a few friends-so I will have that to keep me busy this week. I cannot believe he is going to be 3 already!
A friend and I are going out for coffee as soon as Brent gets back from the store so that will be a nice little break.
Sam and Ella are keeping us busy as usual-they are starting to fight alot more now. One of Ella's favorite things to do is to grab one of Sam's wooden trains that he is playing with off of the train table and run away with it. He gets so mad at her-she is such a little stinker.
Sam is busy testing his limits with his parents-which I hear is normal. This is a very tough age and I hear it doesn't get better anytime soon! I'm sure all of you grandparents are out there laughing at this because you have all been through it before! :)
