And we are really sad. We had a great time while she was here-but we probably tired her out! She is such a great help with everything (especially the kids!) that we hate to have her go home. Sam woke up this morning and walked out into the hallway and said "Grandma?" I told him that Grandma went home today on an airplane and he said "nooooooooooooo" and was so sad. Poor guy. But then I told him that she is coming back for his birthday and he seemed ok with that. Phew!
Ella really had an attachement to Grandma Beth-it was so cute! Grandma went to get her out of her crib and brought her out in the living room. I held my hands out for Ella and she wouldn't come to me! Her own mommy! It was pretty cute-she just loves her grandma! And we all know Sam does too.
Sam changed his birthday party theme from firetrucks to construction trucks. So we called Tia last night and told her to think of some different ideas for the cake! I just hope he doesn't change his mind again. He woke up this morning talking about them though-so I think that is a good sign. He keeps saying he wants a green cake-with dirt and tractors and dumptrucks :)
